Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. From her teens, she's embraced the edges of traditional and popular music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the voice of the new artist as sassy and sweet however with a bite. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial success. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing as a solo performer on the show. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
