Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well older classical songs. Ana loves tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Ana began learning to play and sing in the early years together with her mom. The formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a young student and professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving in the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties singing traditional Latin American Music. Alongside being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her active in a variety of projects. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
